Announcing Publications (with custom domains)!
I'm really excited to announce that we've just launch one of our most highly requested features, publications.
With publications, you can create your own website in just a couple clicks and easily share and publish your blog posts with the world.
Check out an example publication we created from the Sprouts YouTube channel.
What are publications?
Publications are just websites where you can publish and share any blog post that you created in Video To Blog.
They provide a much easier and seamless way to share your blog posts instead of having to create your own website on another platform, export your blog post to said platform, etc.
With publications, you can simply click the publish button in your blog post and boom, that's it.
Why use publications?
There are many reasons to use publications instead of your own website including (but not limited to)...
Quick and easy
Publications are incredibly easy to create (literally just 2 clicks), customize, and publish your blog posts.
Fully customizable
You can customize your publication to make it your very own. You can specify fonts, colors, layout, logo, banner image, navigation menu, social media links, external links, and so much more.

With publications there's no need to pay for a separate website provider and hosting.
SEO optimized
Rest assure that all of your metadata and other SEO features are automatically built in to publications.
YouTube channel integration (coming soon)
Soon, you'll be able to create a publication just from a YouTube channel link and import and generate all of your channel's videos all at once.
Analytics (coming soon)
Soon, we'll be offering built in analytics were you can track how many people are visiting your site, visiting particular blog posts, clicking links, and much more.
Why did you create publications?
Given that one of most highest voted feature requests from our users was the ability to connect a custom domain (check out our roadmap to see the votes) along with the numerous requests I've received to allow the ability to upload a custom logo on blog posts, it became clear that users wanted a quick and easy way to share blogs posts generated with Video To Blog without having to go through the hassle (and high cost) of creating a website on another platform.
This is why I built publications. Instead of just allowing custom domains and custom logos, I felt it was best to give users the ability to create a full fledge website to share their blog posts that was just as easy to use as the share links, but with more customization options.
What if I already have my own website?
Totally cool. Nothing will change. You can still export any and all blog posts to your website like you always have. I will continue to support exporting your blog posts to those platforms and others (more integrations coming soon).

Create your first publication by logging into your Video To Blog account and clicking the 🌐 icon. Check out our docs for more info.
